I strongly believe that the City tour program was a great idea. Even though I have lived in Coral Springs for about 3-4 years now, I have visited places and seen things that I would have never known existed. The covered bridge was hands down the most vivid aspect I would relate to this city. The bridge gives visitors a chance to look back upon what used to be Coral Springs before modernization took route. Another site that is not very common in most towns, is the water park. I, myself, am not accustomed to having a water park located right in the middle of a city on account of I grew up in New Jersey where the town was no bigger than one square mile. To add to that, touring this city really made me realize how big it was. I can boldly say that this task could not have been accomplished without a mode of transportation. On the other hand some sites were relatively close to my residence. Such as Sherwood Forest Park, The Ramblewood schools, and probably about 2 or 3 more sites. Also, to be frank, I never knew where city hall was until I took part in this program. This program was a great idea and it gave me the opportunity to visit the city's various sites I would of overlooked otherwise.

I have lived in Coral Springs my entire life. But I have never seen how much this town I call my home has to offer. Coral springs is a beautiful town with many attractive art sculptures and new buildings. The past eighteen years I have done a lot with this city. I have done five years of coral springs youth soccer, two years of both chargers cheerleading and the coral springs swim club. Programs such as this make you see how much beauty coral springs has. On my scavenger hunt I have visited places both old and new. One place I always liked to visit is the covered bridge and the walk, which has many beautiful shops and restaurants. I’ve also visited Mullins Park, which is a place I am very familiar with because of my swimming. I’ve also played many soccer games on those fields. The schools I visited are James S. Hunt elementary, forest glen middle and Coral Springs high school. Personally i have attended two out of the three and loved every minute of it. Coral springs is a growing town and a great place to live and raise a family. I really enjoyed my Coral Springs experience scavenger hunt.

My Coral Springs Experience consisted of many trips around Coral Springs I started my adventure at Mullins park and ended at city hall. I learned about the many opportunities and historical landmarks throughout the city. On my scavenger hunt I visited the reclining nude sculpture and the everglades sculpture at the museum of arts center. Coral springs also contains many honorable schools as well. We had the chance to see James S. Hunt Elementary School, Forest Glen Middle School and our very own Coral Springs High School. My best friend Lauren and I had the chance to experience Coral Springs before we graduate. We loved Coral Springs the entire time we resided here. Eventually we will have to leave Coral Springs and further our education. Personally I liked going to the Coral Springs fire academy because my Uncle Bret went there before he became a fire fighter for Islamorada. He is now a successful firefighter and in the 2010 South Florida firefighter calendar. Living in Coral Springs has inspired me to be successful just like him. I hope to, one day, work at the Coral Springs Medical Center and help change peoples lives everyday. This Coral Springs experience has taught me a lot about the city and I really had fun.
